Schedule of duties                  9:00A.M. -1:00 P.M.       2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Plans, organizes, monitors and evaluates the operations of the library to support the major functions of the institution;
  2. Provides information both in print and non-print materials in digital/electronic formats to meet the needs of the clientele and the thrusts of the institution;
  3. Provides the academic community with materials needed for current teaching trends and research programs;
  4. Provides materials to meet the varied interests to the clientele for their advancement;
  5. Prepares budget allocation for the college library;
  6. Prepares catalogs and organizes library holdings;
  7. Formulates library policies and establishes rules and regulations;
  8. Attends conferences, meetings concerning library management and services;
  9. Supervises library staff and student assistants;
  10.  Assists  clients/researchers in their information needs particularly information searching and retrieval; and
  11.  Does other related jobs.


HELEN P. LOSARE

Designation:       Faculty-In-Charge (Science-Laboratory Library) Asst. Professor I 

Schedule of duties                  7:00A.M. -12:00 P.M.     1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implements the policy and  monitors operation for Science-Laboratory Library (SLL);
  2. Takes charge the loaning in and out of library materials ;
  3. Prepares report on book service operations;
  4. Attends meeting and other professional gathering of the institution; and
  5. Performs other library related tasks as required by the college librarian.


 

CARMELA P. PIRA                                  

Designation: LIBRARY STAFF

 Schedule of duties      7:00  A.M. - 11:00 A.M.     12:00 P.M.  -   4:00 P.M

 Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implements the policy and  monitors operation for Archives, Filipiniana and Circulation Area;
  2. Takes charge the Control Desk Area;
  3. Prepares statistical report on book service operation and library utilization;
  4. Operates copier machine;
  5. Gathers library related information from the periodicals for vertical filing;
  6. Records newly acquired periodicals;
  7. Issues receipts on accumulated fines to library users;
  8. Attends meeting and other professional gathering of the institution; &
  9. Performs other library related tasks as required by the unit head.

 

 

LILY JOY T. CASTILLANO       

Designation: LIBRARY STAFF

 Schedule of duties      8:00  A.M. - 11:30 A.M.      12:30 P.M.  -   5:00 P.M

 Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implements the policy and  monitors operation for Special Collection, Rizaliana, Serials/Periodicals and Reserve Areas;
  2. Takes charge the computer station;
  3. Takes charge and updates records in the Online Public Access catalog (OPAC);
  4. Operates computer printing;
  5. Assist clienteles and library users in their research work;
  6. Prepares statistical report on computer service operations;
  7. Prepares financial report on Income Generating Project (IGP);
  8. Design and updates information technology program (WEBPAGE) for library;
  9. Gathers library related information from the periodicals for vertical filing;
  10. Assists librarian in processing, classifying and cataloging of books;
  11. Assists librarian in preparing library documents for accreditation;
  12. Attends meeting and other professional gathering of the institution; &
  13. Performs other library related tasks as required by the unit head.
